In mid-2019, OCA Global -together with ImplementaSur- was selected by Fundación Bariloche to provide consulting services for the project "Redes y Mecanismos de Transferencia de Tecnología para el Cambio Climático", financed by the Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo.
OCA Global and ImplementaSur evaluated the investments needed until 2030 to achieve the level of GHG mitigation required in this process. The proposed technology options for emission reductions were characterized according to technology maturity and required capital cost, and then prioritized with a Marginal Abatement Cost Curve (MACC) and a multi-criteria analysis. This determined the feasibility of implementing the options according to operational and financial criteria in order to subsequently design an investment plan.
