Quality, Environmental and Tourism Quality Certificates for Parador Hotels

Last January, during the course of FITUR, representatives of OCA Global officially handed over the certificates accrediting the conformity of the Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System with the UNE-EN ISO 14001, UNE-EN ISO 9001 and UNE 182001 (Q for Tourism Quality) to the President of the Spanish Ministry of Tourism. The Paradores de Turismo network is a unique hotel chain in the world, the first to have obtained the Q for Quality and which is committed to the recovery of its heritage, the special way it takes care of its customers and environmental respect for its surroundings.

The renewal audits were carried out over the course of October and November 2019 through a representative sampling of its 94 hotel establishments and ending with the presentation of the audit report at the central offices.

The event was attended by the President of Paradores, Mr. Óscar López Águeda, the Secretary General, Mr. Jose Antonio Trueba, the Director of Operations, Mr. Carlos Martínez, the Commercial Director, Mr. Jose Carlos Campos, the Head of Accommodation and Hotel Quality, Ms. Laura Arias, and the Coordinator of Quality and Environment, Mr. Ramón Adillón.
